Neldora
Management software for gold and silver factories

Track gold and silver shortfall
across your production stations.

Neldora records each piece's weight as it is handed on from every station, and the path of every order, so you know where the gold and silver are, who holds them and when an order will be ready. Gram and cash accounts are kept apart.

A separate installation for each factory.

One system, eight connected areas of work

Neldora is an ERP: software that records the different parts of factory work in one integrated system. Customer information in the CRM (customer relationship management) is followed from the first contact through order, production, invoice and account balance.

Integrated system The shared core of every module
  • Customers and sales Customer records, follow-ups and sales invoices
  • Orders and design From customer request to design approval
  • Purchasing Needs, suppliers, receipts and bills
  • Store and items Metal stock by purity and location
  • Production Hand-over weight and shortfall per station
  • Finance and accounting Gram and cash accounts, treasury, fixed assets
  • Human resources Staff, attendance, payroll
  • Administration and access Roles, change history and backups

All Neldora modules

Four modules are on in every installation; you switch on the other thirteen as your factory needs them.

Three modules we review in the demo

In the demo we look at Neldora in three core areas of the factory: metal stock, the production line and the accounts.

Store

Requires: Items

Metal stock is kept by purity and location, and for every gram you can see where it is and which document brought it there.

  • Gold and silver totals by purity and location: the safe, the shelves, the factory floor.
  • Each user sees only the stores or shelves they have been given access to.
  • Receipts, issues, transfers and weight corrections, each as its own document.
All features
  • A stock card for each item with balance and movements.
  • Stock counts, with differences against actual stock recorded.
  • A finished piece is reserved for its own order.
  • Opening stock imported from Excel, with each row checked before saving.
  • Several stores and locations inside each store, with separate access for each user.

Six control points from order to delivery

At every key step, the person responsible, the piece weight and the time of the hand-over are recorded.

  1. 1

    Order entry

Piece type, metal, requested weight, stones and making charge; the due date is calculated from the working calendar.

  2. 2

    Design

A new design or one from the archive; technical check and the customer's approval of the look.

  3. 3

    Printing to sprue cutting

Printing, wax, investing, kiln, casting and sprue cutting; the weight of each piece is recorded.

  4. 4

    Finishing benches

Carbide, polishing, turning, engraving, shot polishing and soldering; the hand-over weight is recorded at each bench.

  5. 5

    Final inspection

Final weight, store receipt, reservation for this order and the loss stamp.

  6. 6

    Invoice and delivery

An invoice showing the making charge, metal and stones; the delivery method and, for shipments, the tracking code.

Two ways to deploy, with clear responsibilities

Either way, Neldora is a separate installation for your factory. The difference is where the server sits, how much you depend on the internet and who is responsible for maintenance.

Faster start

Hosted by Neldora

Neldora is set up on a separate server for your factory, and you reach it over the internet.

  • Server maintenance, software updates and backing up your data are Neldora's responsibility.
  • The service is paid monthly or annually.
  • During an internet outage, the software cannot be reached until the connection returns.

Infrastructure in your hands

Installed on the factory server

Neldora is installed on a server inside the factory, and users reach it over the local network.

  • Work on the factory's local network does not depend on the internet.
  • The software licence is bought once; support and updates have an annual agreement.
  • The software can create, download and restore database backups; full server backup and keeping a copy outside the factory are decided during setup.

Neldora is not a service shared between factories; each factory's data is kept in its own separate installation.
